I hand weave innovative, elegant one of a kind wearable art on multi harness floor looms. multiple layers are designed in the weave structure, giving each piece a sculptural quality.

I combine thick paint texture, paper collage and fiber into my 2D work and am inspired with concepts of scale, space, perspective and explore the simplicity, beauty and structural elements of natural formations, reflections and microscopic details. I fiber infuse nylon thread by hand stitching directly into the canvas. The thread fiber adds energy, deliberate mark making and a sense of permanency and reinforcement similar to that of hand quilting.
